So, what's even better than spending a glorious semester in Vienna? Getting to spend a few short days with your DAD in Vienna because he was awesome and re-routed his flights home so he could come visit! It was so great getting to see my dad, and it was so much fun showing him around Vienna! He was only here for a short time, so we just did some basic sight seeing. I took him to see the Austro-Amerikan Institut where I have classes, the Opera House, the Rathaus, Peterskirche, Stephansplatz, Schwedenplatz, and Schonbrunn. We had a blast! (So glad to have my dad there, but wish my sisters and mom could have come too!)

There was a National Holiday on October 26, so our classes were cancelled! It was also free to go to the Parliament building, so that's what we did. We also walked through the park where there were tanks and helicopters were on display.
Last Tuesday was All Saint's Day and classes were cancelled AGAIN! So great. A group of us went to Bratislava in Slovakia. It was a great way to relax and a fun day trip!
